Last month I achieved an actual milestone, my very first tiny little ponytail. Such an exciting moment.

Well this morning I was tying it up, trying to keep it dry while I shower, and noticed how much longer it is now. Hooray, growth is happening!

:rollin: Sounds like my husband!

It is funny...because he has a thick head of hair....and just doesn't want the upkeep.
But his beard care products, brushes etc... you name it....he has it...and uses it all

THE. SAME. Our son has his denseness of hair, but his hair is very very fine. But my husband needs all of 1/4" of hair for you to be unable to see scalp anymore. Like a forest! And he's how I got into oiling my hair, by having tons of coffee scented beard oils and balms! He has a tangle teezer for his beard now. Special trimming scissors ("Don't use them for your hair! They're for my beard!"), conditioner just for his beard, special shampoo for it. Ooooooooh my gosh. If you discount hair toys, he has 2x the stuff for his beard that I have for my hair!

Beards require a lot of maintenance too. A portion of my bathroom is dedicated to my tangle brush, wooden combs, oils, batters, waxes, and even lamp work glass beads.

As my hair continues to grow out I'll have to get hair toys, too. Or make some. Woodworking is fun.

Haha; yup, hair does that. I was just noticing this morning that my hair is past collarbone length now. I've been thinking of it as shoulder length for months.

Good progress!

What's the goal? You realize, its like a slippery slope... But in a good way!

I don't have a goal. I've never had long hair, or even anything unsculpted, though I've had everything from shaved to a buzz to a flattop and even a sculpted pompadour.

I figure that as a man in his late forties I should grow it while I've still got it.

No idea where it will end.
