I know not everyone's workplace embraces Halloween and I am lucky that mine does. Today, I didn't feel like a full costume, but if anyone wants to post costumes, I'd love to see whatcha got. This is my hair today:

For Halloween, I am going to be Sleeping Beauty. This body is too old for such festivities!

Very nice! We don't celebrate "Halloween" in Belgium. We do have All Saint's and All Soul's days where people go to the burial grounds and put flowers down. They are very Catholic, very Holy days here. We don't mess about with candy those days, we mean business!

But it's pretty nonetheless! :D :flower:

Awesome! I didn't even think to do anything with my hair for Halloween, maybe next year though. Are those festive type hair sticks common? I wouldn't mind trying to find one for the winter holidays if they exist :p

I'm going as Moana, and as far as hair goes, I have the pretty close to the right texture, color and length, and just wearing a flower clip behind the ear. :)

Girl, let me school you ;)

A lot of hairtoy makers make holiday hairtoys. A few that immediately come to mind:

My hair is currently in a towel, but I'll likely be dressing up as a punk. But, if I'm lazy i'll just wear my Charlotte's Wed flexi-8. Love your Halloween hair toys!

Very nice! Sadly no halloween festivities for me this year so I'm not dressing up at all. But I did recently put some "Poison" Arctic Fox red in it, so it's a little witchy with the dark shimmer of red over my hair :D hehe

I am going to be a fork. I have a silver bodysuit and have fashioned a 3-pronged headband to wear. I haven't decided how to do my hair with it, but I was thinking something easy but cool looking, maybe like a figure 8 bun.

It's one of those snap tusks. I have 3 (ebony, holly, and joywood) with snaps for every holiday! Love them to death!

No kids came to the door this year and they would have done so by now. We sometimes get the occasional "visit". I think schools weren't as big on it this year as they were in last years. Also, the novelty might have worn off too. Don't get me wrong, if you go by the stores and shops, Halloween is "big" here, but... it's not as it's just not in our culture; we have what you call "memorial day" on these days (November 1st), and so it clashes a bit.

But I absolutely love the way people dress up for Halloween. :D

I'm loving these themed hairsticks, ladies! And the shirt too, lunasea! This makes me want to up my accessory game.

No halloween costume for me at work, but here is a (grainy, cell phone) picture of my costume last weekend. Just wore my hair down (thank you, rivers of silicones), but I still think it looked pretty nifty with the outfit!

I went as a librarian with my hair in a French twist held with ficcare. No hair pics, too lazy.

We do the same in Lithuania! I still love it, since it gets dark early and all the candle lights on the graves look so magical and beautiful. :)

The young folk does celebrate halloween though (speaking as if i am old, lol), they dress up and go partying, but don't go trick or treating yet.

Yes it is! :o I love it too - I have an obsession with Alice in Wonderland and all the different variants on the book. I've even designed my bed/bathroom with an Alice theme (not American McGee's though...that would be a little much!)

I had no idea Lithuania was the same. November 1st is an Official Holiday here. So everything's closed today. Everyone's off. Apart from maybe the occasional store that is open on an Official Holiday, but those are few and far in between.

We didn't get kids at the door this year; it's been calm with "Halloween" over here.

Same here. Only big supermarkets were open and the flowershops which sold burial flowers.

I have a day off as well.

Everyday is the right day for candy.
