I love love love seeing old ladies with long hair. The department I work at at the hospital gets a lot of geriatric patients and so many old ladies have short hair. Every now and then we get one who has kept her hair long and I love seeing that. I don't want my kids to cut my hair short when I'm old and senile.

Oh lovely! Wow, yes, hair goals :) I think long white hair is so beautiful. I know that a lot of older people cut their hair short because it can be hard to manage, but when people do it because they think they "should" that makes me so sad!
