Interesting, in case you'd ever wondered.

TL;DW: a bit of water and no-rinse shampoo.

I admit I'd have to cut my hair pretty short if I went to space (then again, I would have to cut my hair short if I was living *any* sort of lifestyle where I didn't have the time to let my hair dry after washing or deal with tangles, or didn't have easy access to products that keep my hair manageable). I don't know how no-rinse shampoo manages oily hair (where does the oil go if you can't rinse it out with water*? Does the shampoo actually separated it from the hair shaft enough that you can just rub it out easily with a towel?), and OMG I am so jealous that her hair can float around willy-nilly and she just calmly picks up a comb and pulls it through, snag-free... my hair would be so tangly!

*This is the same question I have about HE washers that barely use any water. Then how does the dirt and sweat get rinsed *away*, rather than just mixed with the water and sluiced through all the other clothes??
