Again, hairstyles aren't "girly" or specific to boys. So don't worry about that so much. :flower:

How long is your hair now? I think you've asked us this before?

Milabu (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6-wCxc9nHUEB9srfgUslNg) has a ton of videos for shorter hair!

And I also got a bit of a deja vu feeling, lapushka.

As others have said, just do what you'd like. Wear it with confidence. Scowl with disdain at the narrow-mindedness of any who would oppose you!

Honestly, the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies are filled with guys who wear their hair pulled back in different ways. That might be a fun starting point. Do you know how to braid? Dutch braids are often seen as a little bolder and more unusual than French or English braids, which might make them a choice that will garner fewer looks.

You can learn others if you like. There's a learning curve for braids, and no one starts out knowing them, though they're easier for some people than others. I think they're easy, but I'm also good with things like knots.

My boyfriend really liked these kinds of headbands (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Goody-Ouchless-Comfort-Headwraps-6-count/10319717?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227009650933&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=42973698992&wl4=pla-54663583776&wl5=9032434&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=10319717&wl13=&veh=sem)before he could put his hair in a ponytail. Easy, comfortable, kept his hair out of his face, and they looked pretty nice.

I work in a climbing gym, and see guys like you every day. :)

Usually the men in the gym tie the front back in a half-up ponytail, if it's too short to gather into a regular ponytail.
Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aD9d6NlrmG0
I've also seen a few topknots/warknots.
You might also be able to french braid the top/front back.
Here's one with short hair https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnYVETdp80U (watch until 3:20 for just the top. After that, they put in some accent braids, which you can totally do, but you don't have to be bothered with them if you don't want.) This one is similiar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_8n5-3dtfs She had freakishly long hair, but if yours is long enough to french braid the top, you could just tuck the tail under and call it "close enough"?

Here's another link for fun.

Good luck with it!

ETA: I grew from a pixie. I understand that "eye-poking hair" drama! lol!

Sadly, he does not do any interesting hair styles! Now that his hair is long enough he wears a pony tail 99% of the time. No cool matching hair styles for us!
