I have tailbone length hair - all one length. I'm considering "faceframing" layers, but I was the shortest layer to be BSL just to make it a little less heavy and some more movement - anyone have a similar cut and can share photos? Thanks.;)

I have one long piece on the side, longer than my bangs. I really like it, it frames my face and lets my hair be seen from the front and not just from the back.

I do the compact cut for layering (ponytail on forehead method). I have TBL hair and my shortest layers are about APL. It goes gradually from no layer to short-short layers and is the shape of a deep V in the back. I love it.

If you do decide to go with it. DO NOT cut a lot off from the ponytail. Like 1 inch to start with, so it's not as deep-set at first.
