Anyone ever used cowboy magic? It's a horse detangler I knew a girl with calf length hair that swore by it, any thoughts?

I've used it. I had the conditioner and ran out. Still have the detangling serum as that lasts a while. My thirteen year old pestered me for a while to buy more as he particularly liked it (conditioner). Guess I can stop by the Tractor Supply to get more.

Thanks for adding an event to my day. That's a thing added to my schedule now. Should be fun.

Too many long haired people in my household for any conditioner to last long.

I haven't but I tried my dogs flea shampoo in my teens (my shampoo ran out unexpectedly) and my hair was lovely afterwards so I'd be willing to horse detangler could be good too.

Years ago, the detangler was touted on LHC as being the thing to use for those tangles that look like they're going to need to be cut out. You know, the ones in horror stories, like driving a hundred of miles without realizing your ends are shut in the door and flapping in the wind. I haven't tried it, haven't needed to, but it's supposed to be heavy duty stuff.

I've used the conditioner. Has a vintage, rose smell which I absolutely loved, and it's the 2nd best conditioner I've used - top conditioner I've used is Earthly Delight. They're very similar, but Cowboy Magic is a lot, lot cheaper.

I've heard of some people really loving their shampoo or conditioner especially for the smell. I do seem to remember that like Mane 'N Tail that they can be protein heavy, so if you are protein sensitive you might want to be careful. But other than that, I've only heard good things about it. :)

First time I've heard of it. It probably is a US thing, because it's nowhere near my part of the world. It's OK though, I have enough to work through (my stash is epic).

We use cowboy magic to detangle my horses tails. My sister's horse has a tail that drags probably more than a foot on the ground and it can get tangled. Cowboy magic gets the knots out. I think it has a lot of cones in it and it is heavy feeling. Works great for the horses but I don't think I would ever use it for human hair. Just to heavy of a serum.

Hmm... now that you guys reminded me. Maybe I should go order another bottle of Cowboy Magic. It's soon good stuff. :)
