Help Settle my Hair Type?

Hi everybody,

I would just like some help deciding for sure on what my wave pattern is. I have FINALLY gotten successful hair typing photos from two different occasions, so I can be confident that my hair's natural pattern is represented well. With hair that takes like 5 hours to dry, this is really exciting.

So, without spoiling it by telling you all what I think, what do YOU think?

(Also, I apologize for all the awkward photos. Those last three, I just lodged my phone in a gap in my deck and was playing with my hair, trying not to lean out of shot.)

I would say 2a :) and absolutely gorgeous :D. Impressive length and beautiful colour, too.

I say 2a as well. Very beautiful, that's the wave pattern I wish I had throughout my hair. :p

I would agree with 2a/b because your hair seems to want to clump more than I think 2a usually does. Is your under layer of hair curlier than the canopy by any chance?

For a true 2b these are quite "loose" braidwaves, hence my mixture of 2a/b.

I think the first pic looks like 2b to me, and the other pics look a little more like 2a. You might get different results based on styling, but it looks like your hair is probably capable of being full on 2b.

It is very beautiful! Somehow forgot to mention that. :o I wish sometimes my waves were this well behaved, but sadly they just "stick out". LOL (might also be the layers)

It looks like the general consensus is... just about where I was thinking, myself. I definitely think I'm a pretty solid 2A... at least. A good amount of my hair in its under/back layer has strands that are definitely 2B as well, but it's not a majority. So it looks like 2A/B is the final judgement!
