Freakin' Finally!

I'm sure I could just post a celebratory comment in one of the many pre-existing threads that would welcome such news - but that feels like such an injustice! I FINALLY reached Hip Length! :joy::cheer::happydance:

My gawd this feels good. I haven't been on LHC in months because this year has proven to be one of the most trying and most eventful years of my entire life. Why did I even pull on my length? Habit? And it reached my Hip Bone!! I had to check both sides just to be sure.

Just give me 3 more minutes to shake my fanny.

I've been stuck in waist length hell since, ohhh...summer 2015? A long a** time. I was starting to get scared that using a flat iron here and there had ruined any further growth potential. I mean, the very tippy top ends of my longest hairs stopped at WL exactly. But now I'm free *starts rain dancing again*. The moment I stop length checking and start stressing about life and wha lah.

I know this whole thread is pretty useless without pics so I promise to throw a bunch of them up here the next time that I flat iron. I don't like when my shirt distorts what I'm trying to show or when I have to add "paint art" lines onto pics to show where my body markers are. Hip is so basic when you look at all of the beautiful long hairs on LHC but I can't deny how happy I am.

The best part about all of this? That means I can finally start waiting for my hair to reach my booty crack - a milestone that's impossible to miscalculate. And I get to update my siggy :D

I flat ironed my hair. Sooooo it's picture time! My curls were trying to come back so I took the photos a wee too late. But I pulled on a few strands and took the doggone pictures anyway. Here's the big reveal! Thanks again for all the congratulations. They made me feel really really good lol.
