Okay, totally off topic but what is the music on this?

It's captivating isn't it! Hypnotica says in the comments, that "the music is from the BBC serie 'The Virgin Queen'".

Hypnotica always finds such great music for her videos. Having made few videos myself, finding the music has usually taken hours of work, it's very difficult to find nice music (that is free to use on videos).

I can't recall the song, but it's by The Mediśval Bśbes, I'd recognize their sound anywhere.:heartbeat

I'm never quite sure if I've done it correctly.

Lovely, all. You make this bun look so elegant! Alas, I believe I will need more length (almost TBL now) to do this one -- darn slippery hair.

My take on my waist(?) length, thin and fine hair on 4th day (aka oily) hair, after a good coconut oil dosing the previous day. Yay itty bitty buns!

neko_kawaii, mine kinda looks like yours from the side. My top loop is super puffy.

I think I got it? I like that my hair kinda looks like a peppermint swirl with this one.

ETA: Sarahlabyrinth, this might be a new favorite of mine as well. It's actually more comfortable than the nautilus, which can sometimes be too tight on me.

Yes, it's a lovely bun :)

All great Artemis buns! pandabarrier, yours looks very natural, and it is not too flashy, but not too bland either.

neko_kawaii, That's a really huge bun! Is it just me, or does it look like you're starting to gray a little bit? Either way, fabulous job!

Nono, little buns are really cute, and your's is no exception. It will get bigger.

bparnell75, I love your fork, it compliments your hair very well, your's is probably my favorite!

And samanthaa, wow! I suddenly want to go buy a big tub of peppermint, because the red dye is very beautiful while blending with your chocolate hair.

I missed Hairstyle of the Month so much! Hopefully I can join in soon

Thank you! I didn't have a mirror nearby when I did this bun while waiting for the subway (my previous attempt fell apart while I was walking to the station).

I tried, it looks nice, although I'm not happy with the hold. I still need to practice how to anchor sticks/forks vertically. This one is 2-prong, maybe something wider would do better

Interesting variation! Usually a nautilus is too tight on me, and this feels too loose. But I'll keep playing with it.

This is easily one of the most secure buns out there, I love it! It's been a long time favorite. (I don't make mine as poofy as 4ypn0tica does)

Thought I had better do an Artemis bun, seeing as it's the style of the month :)

Everyone's buns look so beautiful! I love checking out these monthly hairstyles. Hopefully, within a couple of years, mine will be long enough to make these buns, & use the pretty hair toys you guys do.

I finally tried this! It was reallly loose and only lasted a few hours this morning. They way Hypnotica starts her Nautilus Bun in the video is not how I do mine. Maybe if my hair was longer it would stay better.
I would post my picture, but I'm not sure how... It is in my Updos Album now.

I tried this again today, and I do like this bun, it's fluffier than my usual buns, but I kind of like the looseness, especially because it doesn't seem to come with the cost of bun stability. :)

Just given it a go and it's actually holding better for me than a nautilus! Not very floofy though :)

Hello hello, Iím new & canít see the photos yet so I had to google Artemis buns! I donít typically use sticks because they leave my hair feeling unstable. Iíll have to try the Artemis tomorrow to see how it goes.
