Hey, guys! I am 20 years old, and starting my first hair journey. So, growing up my parents never let me cut my hair. Throughout elementary school and middle school I could practically sit on my hair. However, the fact that I was not allowed to cut my hair made me very much want to do so. When I was going into my junior year of high school, my parents finally gave in and allowed me to cut my hair to shoulder length. I continued to cut my hair this length for the remainder of high school, and I also began during my whole head light blonde and red. Because of that, my hair became very fried and damaged. In 2015, I finally cut my hair into a very short bob. After that, my hair began balding and thinning. I couldn't grow my hair at all.
After about a year my hair started growing back, but around that time I also decided to dye all my hair dark violet. My ends were thin and dead. Finally, in 2017 I decided to dye my hair back to dirty blonde, my natural color, and begin the process of growing it out as long as I possibly can. My goal is to have rapunzel hair. Literally.
So, I am about a month and a half into my hair growth journey. I have grown my hair for. Shoulder length to almost bra strap length. My goal is tail-bone length. I know this may take 3 to 4 years to accomplish, but it is about time my hair gets the care it deserves. I am writing this on my phone, and it will not allow me to upload pictures for some reason. I will try to post some pictures of my hair growth this far when I can have access to a laptop.
