Hi friends,

Last month my sister and I visited Ashikaga, Japan and saw the beautiful wisteria flowers. Truly there must be wisteria in heaven, I have never seen a place as lovely as the Ashikaga Flower Park. How exciting to take length photos in such a beautiful environment! I have an entire post dedicated to it on my blog (http://691superlonghair.blogspot.com/2017/05/length-pictures-among-wisteria-in.html), but here are a few of my favorites <3

How do you keep your hair looking so great at such a long length?

It is almost as pretty to smell as it is to see <3 All-around loveliness <3

Honestly all I did for these pictures was take my hair down...I had washed it the night before, so it was freshly clean. I think the secret has to be coconut oil. I have noticed such a difference since I seriously started using it about a year ago. My ends are thicker and the taper is almost unnoticeable. Those are my two main points about long hair, I prefer thickness and evenness all the way down to the ends. Regular trims and coconut oil are essential imo

Again, thank you everyone!

I agree, coconut oil has already done so much for my hair in the two months I've been using it. Can I ask, do you put the oil on your scalp or just your mid-lengths and ends?

It's terrific! No, I only put it on my length, from about chin down. A couple of times I've put it up closer to the top of my head, and when I do a hair mask (2 tbsp coconut oil, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 eggs) I put it all over. But I generally avoid putting oils and conditioner on my scalp, as I think it makes my hair overly greasy and it makes my hair come out when I comb it.

That's good to know, thank you :) I've tried that same mask in the past and it worked wonders.

Also, great blog! I really enjoyed reading it. I tried to comment on your bad hair experience story (so glad you came through that stronger than ever BTW) but I couldn't figure out how to comment without using my full name so I chickened out!
