I don't have any pictures, but when I still washed my hair in the morning and wore it loose to air dry in the morning, one time I saw a huge shadow as I was walking. I got startled, I thought someone was behind me, and I was about to get jumped at. I turned and nobody was there, so that was actually my shadow. :laugh:

Sorry I didn't mean my post to have creepy vibe, I wasn't used to long hair yet at that time, that's why my shadow startled me!

What a cool idea for a thread. Also because it is over 30°C here (about 45° here in the garden, between high walls) and some shade is definitely a good thing. :D

I mainly blame the ad program for being creepy. They care way too much about stalking me if they can show that they know what exact brand/ style dress I wear just by my shadow and feed that back to me in advertising.

(WD, there's a good chance it was just coincidence that the dress showed up. You've probably browsed HotTopic online, maybe you even bought that dress online or other dresses like it, and that data is kept and used by advertisers to target advertising when you browse around other sites. Creepy? Yes! That's why I use an ad blocker ;) )

Understood about the browsing history; I did look up the dress online so I guess that's why.

Here is my shadow picture on the boulders of Colorado, on "Dome Rock" formation. We were hiking back down to the truck and my kids kept saying "come on mom!" when I was trying to take the pic. Wind shots are challenging.
