Hayheadsbird's first anniversary

Wow! Kinda hard to think I've been here for a whole year now!
I lurked a couple of weeks after I first found the site, from googling henna. This time last year I'd decided to go from lush henna back to baq, as I wanted to cover the grey that was starting to come through. My very first length shot in may 2016, just above APL.

By October I was starting to think about growing out henna, so switched to glossing the roots to blend slightly. November I hit BSL stretched.
At new year I did my last henna root gloss, and started growing out they grey.
May 2017, and I'm moving past BSL and getting closer to waist :)

This past year I've learned to s&d, I've cut my own bangs in, I've discovered how to use sticks and forks, acquired a modest collection of hair toys, discovered sls shampoos work fine but strip my hair slightly more than I like, that cwc is fab, and coconut oil makes my skin react.
Thank you everyone for a fantastic first year being a member here, looking forward to seeing what I learn and discover from everyone for my second!
