Happy 5th Anniversary to me!

I've been here five years today. I don't think I have had any lapse in hanging out here. It's been a great place to spend time. I've had so much fun. I've made great friends. I've had great advice on growing my hair out and embracing the texture. There are many gracious people here.

So, some hair details: currently between tailbone and classic. No color, ever since starting LHC. Two one inch trims since I have started, but I have dusted the ends a few times over each shoulder, which I am sure is what gave me the V hem by accident.

I CO, and sometimes CWC, probably doing a wash every three or four days at the moment. I chelate often, and do use silicones sometimes. I mist my hair and use oils like olive oil and others.

Goal is probably longer, maybe knee. Would like a blunter hemline but don't want to cut presently.

Highlights at LHC include extensive use of the swap board, lunatic fringe Hairtoy obsession building a collection of I am sure hundreds of hairtoys. Loved meeting members Missrandie and Ravenheather in person. Love my friendships with several of you, here. Some friends have come and gone.

Much laughter during the "Freaking Beautiful" thread that caused delayed outcomes of randomly snorting with laughter while walking my dog in the dark.

I am glad I started the Hairtoy Weaponry thread. That was clearly needed.

I am happy too. It's been a long time and a fun chunk of my life. Being Hairtoy obsessed was rather (beyond) crazy for a while. I think I have settled down for now, and good grief, it was time.

My hair has grown a bit more slowly than I thought it might, but I'm ok with it. I do LOVE trying to model hairtoys, it's a hobby (one that I sometimes like to try with experimenting with different buns)

Thanks, Aspensong. My texture is something I like a lot, but it's hard to keep the moisture in without frizzing in humidity. You are really one of the sweetest people on here. You have some great taste in hairtoys too. ;)
