Fae's sixth hairiversary! (pic heavy)

Hello all <3
On the 7th of march, a little over six years ago I joined this awesome community, and since then my hair has gotten better and better thanks to all of you!

Here is my timeline, including a big chop in 013

Until I had an impulse and cut it all off. I did have some bleach damage in my ends though that pushed me over the edge. This was september 2013:

I regretted it after a few weeks and set off to growing it back and marrying my henna early 2014:

A little frizzy hemline, and split ends issues :/ So I kept microtrimming!!

And this is where I am now Taken today (Braid waves). I have done a lot of microtrims and S&D's these past few months, so growth isn't showing as much as I am used to, but I hope my sensitive and splitty ends will settle down after a while <3 I already see some improvement in the texture and feel of my hemline, though the splits are still splitting I try to take care of them the best I can!

Anyway, thanks to all of you lovely people, your knowledge and wisdom are helping me every day to achieve something I never thought possible until recently. I have never had hair this long, and before 2013, my longest length in life record was about APL. I have always wanted this and am so happy that I came this far.

Just my natural color, which is a dark ash blonde (according to the box dye by Indola, I once used), but is leaning towards a light ash brown if you ask me. It gets a blonde sheen in the bright bright sunlight, though. It's just a weird color. :lol:

Your microtrimming looks like it has helped with the condition of your hair a lot in the most recent pics :) My hair looks similar to your January 2017 picture, frizzy with some damage (at least mine has damage). Hopefully my hair will look like your most recent pics in the future :D

I also think it helped :) I still split so so easily on the ends though! I still haven't figured out the cause, but since the overall condition of the hem seems to be improving, it may help to keep going. I can recommend it.

Yes :) I even cut off the mullet from SL to about jaw length in 2014. I've always had fast growing hair, but I never realized because I was always messing it up with dyes and bleach and such.

It's the same for me :) I pulled through thanks to all of you, when I thought I would never make it, when I was really down about my frazzled ends, the practical advice and support of this community has helped me to keep going, instead of cutting and regretting again :) When I first came here, I never thought one could have hair longer than about BSL if you didn't grow it as a kid, and if you didn't have superman genes :P
