Hi today I used Avalon peppermint shampoo for the first time because it's supposed to help breakage and all. But I noticed that it made me shed/more breakage than usual whenever I wash my hair. Is it normal? Wil the hair fall decrease after prolonged usage or should I stay away from it?

I don't know this shampoo, though I don't think I've had any increased hair shedding the few times I've put peppermint stuff on my scalp. Then again, it might not be the mint.

If it doesn't stop pretty quickly, I'd just write it off as a shampoo that doesn't work for you and use something else.

Maybe try it one more time, and if it does it again, try and go back to the shampoo you were using before this.

I have heard nothing about mint causing issues like this.

Is it breakage? Or shedding?

I add peppermint EO to mine to counteract the smell of henndigo, and I don't notice much more than usual.
