View Full Version : How Can I treat growing hairs on the crown of my head that looks like breakage?

I'm confused if these hairs a new growth or plain breakage? its on my crown looks like fly aways, and if so how can I treat this?:confused: Happy New year to all the lovely long haired goddesses in the forum!!

Hi Pamela

Normally, new hairs are growing in all the time & that's probably what you have going on there. if you apply a wee drop of oil to your palm, rub on your hands , then lightly brush the hairs with your hands, they'll stay down a little better. If it happens to be breakage from damaged hair, the oil will help there, too.

I personally use a little bit of aloe vera gel to slick them back down, but I usually just rock them. They're most likely just new growth... look at the ends, if they're tapered, then they're new growth :D

I have to use aloe vera gel or styling gel to get my new hairs to lay down.
