Hey, so I'm sure there are tons of new manes of hair to get to know since I was here last. Since my last visit, I've had a lot of personal life changes, but I still have my hair and it is still growing. I'm now divorced, working two jobs, and going to school... I have eight kids left at home, with the youngest being a GIRL (yay!), and she is 9.5 months old. Life is insane, but I am in a good place emotionally speaking. Let's get back to hair. I took this pic today. I'm almost to classic. How did that happen when I wasn't looking?!?!

Welcome back! Your hair is gorgeous! Almost at classic length. I've got a while before I reach classic length. I'm at BSL now and is still growing. This year my goal is to reach hip length by Christmas or until the end of the year.

PS Long story but I just chopped off 6 inches due to a lot of tangling/breaking halo frizz due to the breakage at TBL... Oh and I cut in ff layers at collarbone length.. what the heck was I thinking?? It will take me a good two years for those ff layers to catch up so I am just planning on maintaining just at hip length until those ff layers get longer.

Thank you. Though I wanted to be happily married forever, I finally discovered after more than 21 years, that I couldn't be both happy and married to him. I was emotionally dead after all the years of his addiction to pornography/masturbation, absolute selfishness in the bedroom, total laziness in every fashion imaginable, passive-aggressive abuse of me, emotional inavailability, lack of co-parenting, emotional/verbal abuse of the kids (abusing them to get to me), and sexual abuse of me (marital rape many times throughout the marriage, but especially towards the end when he knew I wanted a divorce).

All along, I painted a picture of us as a happy couple, and portrayed him as a saint. I thought that's what a good wife should do. I figured if I just worked harder, was a better Christian, was a better mother, was a better wife, was more submissive, was better in bed, quietly accepted all the abuse, that eventually it would be the way I pictured it in my mind. But I was wrong, and after so many years, I finally woke up. I didn't want to break up my family, but I couldn't keep living like that. The last two years have been tumultuous for me and my kids, but things are starting to settle down at last. The kids are doing better, and so am I.

I had no idea so many people liked my videos. I need to update some of them and make some new ones.
