I'll be joining this thread. I'm currently 15 in. away and I grow an average of 1.25 inches per month. If I have no stalls and no trims (no trim 2017) I'll hopefully be there by next Christmas. :joy:

I have about six stripes on my dress from here to TBL, and that's how much I grew in the last year, so maybe? I am hip already but have an insanely long body.

I'm fairly short (4'10) and I feel like my growth makes up for my shrinkage. My hair shrinks to half it's length but I usually wear my hair in a stretched state, so here's hoping that at TBL it'll hang to waist.

I'm about a centimetre shy of 35" which is BCL on me, although I plan on trimming in a few weeks after not doing so for 6 months. TBL is 37.5" so I may be there around midyear or a bit later, depending on trims. So count me in. Downwards we gooooooooo. :D

ETA: I've trimmed back to 33.5", so TBL will definitely be the latter half of next year.

I'm in! I am also at hip and I just hope that my hair will get to tbl by the end of the year. I don't really know much my hair grows in a year, but I think it might be close to 5 to 6 inches a year.

I measured my hair today, and it's grown almost 4 cm (between 3.5 and 4 cm) in 4 months. So that means I will probably hit TBL a bit later than I expected. I knew my growth rate wasn't the fastest, but I was hoping for at least 1 cm a month. Oh, well...

Solid TBL by Christmas should be possible at least :)

Haha I WANT to reach tbl around this time next year, but I don't think it's possible haha! My current growth rate puts me at tbl in 14 months from now... I'm 26 inches and need 10 more.... I'm going to lurk here... and pray hehe!

Looking at the amount of hair at the bottom on your avatar I would say that your hair still has quite a while to go before reaching terminal length.

OK, this had me curious, so I got two tape measures (my last SO was a carpenter :p ) and I ran one around the bottom of my hip bones (about TBL) and had Youngest Dear Son hold the tape. Then I pulled out the other tape measure and we measured my hair relaxed and stretched. According to Youngest Dear son, TBL on me is about 35"--my hair now is about 32" relaxed and 36" stretched! :shocked: :cheese:

I'm not going to call it TBL for right now--I'm planning on a trim at the end of the year, so anything below the 35" mark may be gone. With luck, I'll safely be at TBL by Christmas! :cool:

What is the difference between TBL and BCL?
I found a hair growth chart online. It would appear BCL is the top of your butt crack and TBL is at the bottom of your hip bones.

I have gotten to my goal pretty much. Stretched out my longest bits of hair. It happened to me when I was growing to classic too, I reached that in September 2015. Now TBL August 2017. A lot has happened in between (like a cut to hip - never again so short).

I reached TBL August/September, if I remember correctly, stretched. I am halfway onto classic right now. I think I have had some sort of growth spurt, all well and good but I'm not used to it. LOL!
