I recently bought some shears from Sally's. I decided to spend a little extra to get a good pair. I ended up purchasing some shears by Fromm that cost around $50 on sale (around 60 full price).
They seem very sharp, but a few times when I've been doing S&D, I've noticed that they kind of pinch a hair strand. Like instead of cutting the strand, it will just be bent between the blades.
I literally just bought these a few weeks ago, so I know they aren't dull. And they seem to be giving a clean cut at other times. It's almost like the strand of hair gets pinched at the wrong angle and instead of cutting it just curves between the blades, if that makes any sense.
It's probably just me being a perfectionist, but is it okay to keep using these as long as I'm careful to cut the hair straight on? I've just never had that issue with any other shears I've used.
I'm really hoping the answer is yes, because I no longer have the receipt for these, haha!
