Hi all, I'm doing it a few weeks early as I'll be too busy over christmas and I can't sleep haha
My starting point was shoulder length and initially I wanted bsl/mbl, I expected to get there by the summer  Hmmmm, not sure what planet I was living on then. I'm sure those who know me are aware I have had hairloss issues which I'm not going to bore everybody with again, but suffice to say the journey has not been what I expected.
Length wise, I am just under bsl after my recent 4 inch chop, so I haven't got oodles of length to show off after 3 years of growing, but I have made significant progress in thickening up.
I have changed everything about my haircare since joining apart from two things:- daily washing, stretching is not for me, and I still dye my hair. The changes I have made this year have been dropping my towel for a t-shirt, swapping cotton pillowcases for silky ones and I have stretched my root dye from 4 weeks to 12 weeks. These recent changes have made a big impact on the amount of split ends I have. I recommend t-shirts and silky pillowcases to everyone.
And now for some pics

I think these yearly pics show the thickening progress up quite well. I have certainly chopped off more than I have kept!!!! For the following year I would like to get close to waist and keep hold of a reasonable hemline. I would also like to learn to put down the scissors!!!
For anyone interested my routine is as follows:-
Daily wash either cwc or wcc, depending on my mood and what concoction I have had in my hair overnight. I scalp wash only apart from when I clarify.
Leave-in conditioner and serum
Overnight treatments, coconut oil, philip kingsley elastisicer, whipped shea butter with oils, olive oil. Again it depends what mood I'm in as to what I put on and when I can be bothered!!!
Deep treatments as and when
Roots every 12 weeks with the dreaded box dye
I am not loyal to any product and as a shopoholic I like to try many different brands. So I don't have a go to product but I do have favorites and some I really dislike.
I would also like to add a personal thanks to the members of this wonderful forum who have given me their support over the years, I have been quite the wingebag at times!!! I have received some great advice from here, not just personally, but from other members threads as well, so thankyou to the rest :)
Happy growing everyone :blossom:
