Hi, my aunts wedding is this next week and I have no idea of what hairstyle to use, I will most likely need heat to control the frizz, but I don't want to have my hair down, I have almost BSL lenght, and I was thinking of a half-up, or a braid, maybe an up-do???

Does anyone knows a hairstyle I could do in my hair with that lenght??

Thank you :)

What about just a simple half-up with a pretty hair accessory? And leave your hair wavy. Why not?

Thank you for the idea!!! I think I'll play a bit with a crown braid too, see what works better with my complete look.

You could try a French twist. It's elegant and it's a style people often have trouble with at longer lengths so you might as well wear it while you still can.

Another vote for french twist! Low nape chignons are also elegant.

[[[Although much depends on the formality of the weddings, what you are going to wear, where it is (outdoors, indoors?), what makes you comfortable and feeling pretty and what styles your hair is capable of doing (for example, is is very slippery? super thick? more of frizzy type?)]]]

If you want to dress it up, there's a LOT you can do with hair at your length. The creator of LaDollyVita33 (https://www.youtube.com/user/LaDollyVita33) (her old channel) and LaDollyVita333 (https://www.youtube.com/user/ladollyvita333) (her newer channel) has just about the same length as you, so you should be able to do most of what she does, and she's got all levels of fanciness and difficulty in her archives. Depending on the dress code, one of the easiest ones I can think of that would deal with your length nicely and not risk upstaging a bride is the elastic braid (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Crqv3kf1CWI). It looks really elegant but it's just a series of little ponytails.

If you find the elastic braid Nique linked to above appealing, I suggest a test drive where you try wearing it a longer while. This because on many people, me included, a hair style that touches the neck can start feel like cheece grate against your skin after a while. It's extremely unfomfortable feeling.

Thank you, I looked up a few styles and decided to do a simple tiara braid with some hair pulled back and a few curls, I tried it on today and it worked very well with me. (on the weddin day I'll do a better job than today but it's just to see if I could it)

Do you think this works well for an indoor, yet simple wedding??

I know the feeling, I always feel uncorfortable with a hairstyle touching my neck like that. It's actually very annoying after a while with the hairdo.

French twists are great!!! I actually thought of them too, but some relatives are thinking of going for that hairstyle as well... so i had to change my plan.
