Ok a month ago, on Hallowe'en, we tried to type my hair but I had handled it wrong after my shower. I followed the directions I read in another thread today and sure enough I notice a difference. Is it obvious to anyone else? Do I call myself a 1c now? :eye: I looked at the typing guide but want more opinions! :)
All I did tonight was one lather with Pantene Classic Clean 2 in 1 Conditioning shampoo. I clarified last week, very sure there is no build up, and this is without any rinse out or leave in conditioner. There are sulfates and cones, but it was just one product. It feels nice actually. Soft and silky, but not floppy and weighted down.
This is so exciting after a lifetime of fighting with what I thought was straight hair. This is a game changer. How do I care for slightly wavy hair? Lighter conditioners? Strictly NO handling during drying? I'm totally lost now, I don't know what to do with this information other than "yay it's cute this way!"
Your official verdict on what type it is, and what I need to do now with fine hair that gets oily super easy is greatly appreciated. Thanks everybody!
PS I put last month's picture side by side with tonight's picture to make the difference a little easier to compare. Black t shirt as usual so it's easier to see the hairs.
