I can barely see a single strand of my hair. I can't even feel it with my fingers. I am trying to put in some hair tinsel. If I can even get it on, as soon as I pull a knot my hair breaks. Is there any kind of secret method to putting in hair tinsel with super fine hair? I want to do something fun with my boring hair and have always liked the way hair tinsel looks.

Just look up hair tinsel. It's all the same no matter who makes it. Instructions are found all over the internet.

Thanks, I've never used it so I didn't know if different brands work differently. I wonder if you could try "gluing" it in with honey or hair gel? That way you wouldn't have to isolate a single strand, right?

You just knot it around the base of a hair strand, right? Could you just knot it to more than one? Like a little clump of three or four that are right next to each other.

That sounds like SSKs waiting to happen. <grueling>

I can't seem to knot it at all. My hair breaks tying a knot. If I tied more knots in the tinsel it doesn't hold. It just slides off. My hair is like cobwebs. I can barely see or feel a single hair.
The idea of the tinsel is that you leave it in forever until your hair naturally falls out. It looks really pretty if you've never seen it. You just put in a few strands. The tinsel is about the size of a couple of hairs.

Huh, I had never heard of it until now. I just watched video instructions on how to put it in and they definitely did not tie it to a single hair. If you can manage to make the slip knot, I agree gluing may help instead of doing the multiple knots thing. I would suggest eye lash glue.

You just summarized my hair: cobwebs. Good luck with that! :p
