View Full Version : FS: Ketylo hairsticks, exotic wood barrettes, owl hairstick!

Hey there! These items have been sitting in a box in the dark, unused for many years. They are all in great condition. My impulse buys are your treasure I hope! I mostly stick to Ficcare Maximas clips because they are so easy.

Ketylo hairsticks, customized metal and glass beads. The wood I believe is a type of mesquite. $20.91 for the pair, or $10.61 each.

Medium Innovation Clip in three tone enamel, no longer produced. Dark brown, light brown, and cream. I think this color combination was called Espresso. In good condition, teeny scratch on the dark brown enamel, no chips. There's a little oxidization on the inner metal near spring. It functions perfectly. I tried this Innovation clip years ago to replace my lost Maximas, but didn't like it. $30.00

Purpleheart French Barrette. Sturdy, high quality metal. In perfect shape, no rust. $10.61

Copper toy that is hard to describe. The stick goes through the loops at the ends as shown. You can bend the main part to adjust the amount of hair/bun size it's holding. Pretty nice. The copper is oxidized. Looks rustic and earthy. If you prefer, you can use the old Coca Cola trick to make the copper shiny and bright again! $10.61

I love these! You have such pretty taste in hairtoys! Wish I needed them... Alll of them...LOL!! :( I hope someone else will see these soon!! :)

How long is the owl one? I am interested. Oh wait, I see. It it, by chance, shorter than a full 6"?

From end to end it's exactly six inches. The length of useable stick is 4.5 inches, if that makes sense!

Are the barrettes the typical kind in terms of closure? Sorry, I'm not sure I'm phrasing that very well...

They are french barrettes, the ones that you push and they snap closed. Then to open them you push on the side prong like things, and the barrette pops right open. Simple to use either functionally or decoratively. Yeah you could say they are common, can find them in drug stores but the quality varies. These are heavy duty and don't snag. Made in France! I hope that helps! I've never had to describe how a barrette works before, kinda challenging! :)

They really are! The beads contrast so nicely with the warmer toned wood. A really nice "pop" if you will. They look more vibrant in real life. I may need to post some more pictures. Thanks for looking!
