Olaplex? Do you think it can prevent and repair damaged hair? Do you have any experience using it?

We have a pretty informative thread on it over at the Products section of the LHC, with lots of reviews and discussion :) : http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=124721

Keep in mind that nothing can actually repair damage. But some treatments may make the hair look better, so may be worth doing anyway.

Yes, I agree. Damaged hair is damaged hair. The only way to "fix" damaged hair so that you may no longer have it is to cut it off.

Olaplex is not ment to repair damage. It is there to prevent damage during bleaching; that is what it's for. I don't understand those who use it otherwise. And for its intended purpose it works; I had a round of Olaplex bleach in may and I did not get damage from it.

ETA: I didn't use the home treatment; only step 1 and 2 at the hair dressers.
