I feel like I might be biased into thinking my hair is wavier than it is, so I'd like some outside feedback please! I've typed myself at either a 1c or a 1c/2a. I usually get s-wavies around my hairline and nape even when combed out, and my temples will sometimes sprout a ringlet. If I comb my hair while it's wet I end up straightish with flippy ends. I definitely get more wavies with moisturized hair, and I remember getting way more ringlets at the temples before I bleached...

Some photos of air-dried, product-free, uncombed hair. The first is from 2012, which was virgin hair, air-dried with no product but probably finger-combed while it was wet, but I don't remember for sure. Other second and third are August and September, respectively. Black shirt is from today!

Yep, I'd say 1c, possibly 1c/2a might be right!

Yeah, I'd say 1c, it doesn't look quite wavy enough for what I think of as 1c/2a or 2a. :)

In the first picture it looks 2a to me, but on the others more like 1c. So 1c/2a, maybe? :)

Looks a LOT like what my hair does. I'd say 1c/2a.

Aside from the very first picture, your hair looks too straight for a 2a IMO, so I'd go for 1c in your case - but that's just my opinion ;)

Yeah, I seriously wonder if the bleach relaxed my wave pattern a little bit. Or maybe now that it's longer it's more weighed down. Or drier. Who knows! I didn't pay much attention to hair care (or hair type) until after I went pink last year, and I have quite a ways to go before my virgin hair grows out enough to compare! (: I'll stick to 1c for now, I definitely don't think I could call it straight-up 2a right now. Maybe on the humid days it's 1c/2a.

I kind of want to dig and see if I can find any old pictures to compare it to, but I had a hard drive failure a year ago and lost everything (ironically enough, it happened mid-way through me creating a back-up, destroying both. :rolleyes:)
