Sorry I couldn't find the heatless waves/curls thread. Does anybody know of a way to get these wurls heatlessly? Bantu knots turn out really poofy on me. Rag curls maybe? But I'm only BSL so they'd turn out huge.

I use scarf curls. Torrinpaige has a video on Victorian rag curls (not the kind that roll up on themselves, but wind around a scarf. I think they're also known as bandanna curls. Torrin's method works the best for me.

This is the method I use to get the wurls you see in my avatar pic. Actually it's the only curling method I ever use, because it's the only one I've found that works on my extremely curl-resistant hair :)

These are curled with a wand so you'll never get the same exact result... but I think large flexi rod rolled up to your ears would give a similar result!

Magalo check out the link I posted just above ;) It's pretty darn close and yes it uses bendy rollers! :D

Does your hair have to be damp for rollers? Mine would never dry :/ and where would you find those clips?

Mine never dries either when it's contained! What I do is wrap up my hair bone dry and then spritz with water from a fine mist bottle - since the moisture isn't trapped inside the wrap the it's able to dry after 3 hours or so, and I find it's just enough dampness to set the curl. It is literally the ONLY method that works for me - I've tried it all. No type or amount of product holds curl in my hair, nothing - only the a wet-set, and only by this method ;)

I think those little mini clips came from the dollar store, IIRC :)

Take a look at this videos from Beautyklove, she has made a lot of different videos about no heat curls/waves.

This is torrinpaige's "famous" wave setting method - I love this:

This is one tutorial for the method I use.
Victorian rag curls (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7bjCSteybc)

The reason they don't look like sausage curls on me is that I use two scarves only for my whole head (I get looser curls that way) and because I twist a little as I wrap the hair around. Not consistently, or like I would making a rope braid, but a few twists keep it looking like a wand method.
