This all answers a lot for me also. So I guess I'm Hip going back to tail bone? My hair is 30 inches on a 5'4" person.

Lovely hip length at the bottom of our taper. I'd say your shortest parts, prior to the taper, are at waist, but we here measure at the longest strand! Great growing :)
