I usually do low-pool scalp washes. That's my norm, but I still have dandruff/itching, so I thought I'd try a shampoo bar with nettle. They even say they give you more volume. So I used it and did a lemon rinse afterwards. . .. BUt my hair had less volume, less curl. . . and I don't know if I should keep trying or give up. Also, since these don't lather, should I purposely wash my length with them as well, to make sure the length gets clean, because I doubt that a scalp wash with a shampoo bar gets down there. Just curious as to others opinions/experiences

Have you seen the shampoo bar thread? There are many tips and tricks in there. I don't have time right now to retype my method, but if you search my name in that thread it will come up. :flower:

Here's the thread: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=74
I do think your hair's behavior will vary a bit depending upon the concentration of your acid rinse, and it may also take a little while to adjust to it. So don't draw conclusions on only one wash.
