I saw a photo of this totally awesome bun from a website called "dreamweaver braiding". The person provided a link, but unfortunately the site is totally dead.. luckily, though, I dug through the good old wayback machine and struck gold! :D

I don't have long enough hair yet for this, but I'll definitely have to try it in the future. This is a really cool idea for someone with extremely long hair to keep it all safely out of harm's way!

Ooooh, I'll have to try this out sometime! That person looks like she has about the same thickness hair as me too... hmmm... Her hair also looks past classic though. I'll have to try it out after my hair grows at least a few more inches.

Oh yeah, I like doing knotted buns like that. My hair is thin so it's pretty easy; I sometimes do a series of knots.

I do this with loose hair, and my ends end up at about waist if that helps anyone.

I actually did a blog post about this- (http://happyhairdays.blogspot.com/2016/02/hairstyle-of-week-part-1-comet-bun.html)I believe some people call it a comet bun! There's a few pics of my take on it there. :3

That's so great! :D I love that style! Thanks for sharing! :flowers:
(By the way, steps 1 -5 is exactly how I bunned my hair every day before it was long enough to be put into LWB. It's like a braided cinnabun, but it holds so much better with ends tucked in a bit, like a knot. It's very hair-friendly, too.)

This is really cute... might have to try this instead of a standard braided cinnabun next time!

I've seen the unbraided version called a "bunnytail" a few times, thanks to the bun+ponytail combo. It's cute, though I think it looks better with her thick hair than it would with mine, with my tapered ends wafting from it. :P LOL (Mine's totally in a braided celtic knot today, btw.)
