keeping scalp cool during summer

my hairis long and thick, and I am finding that after just normal activity, my scalp is literally soaked in sweat, and wet and hot to my fingers when I pass them through it. I feel my hair actually seems to trap pockets of heat on my head.

Pig tails, twin braids or double buns. Anything hair style that parts down the middle all the way really helps release the heat and dry up sweat. I have the same issue, piggy tails are my go to style when I get sweaty.

yeah, I may try pigtails, I havedone braids, I like them, but Ioften slept in them and the middle part and my hair would be a mess.
