I love crocheting scrunchies and made some in May with leftover yarn I had

This was the pattern I followed, but also modified depending on the yarn (2 rounds vs 3)

Have fun :)

I haven't made scrunchie in ages. I actually haven't used them lately. What do you use them for?

Thanks,
I can crochet but I haven't made anything in ages. I'd have to look for silky yarns though because my hair is a lint magnet.

They're hair ties. It keeps my hair back without the need for using hard accessories on my head. When you did have them, what did you use yours for?

I love mine; thankfully the worsted yard I used doesn't shed/pill! :p

I used to use them for ponytails when I was younger and sometimes to tie off my braids, but they slipped off really easily so I didn't wear them after I discovered metal free hair elastics.

I've got clingy hair so nothing slips off. Many of the hair elastics get tangled up in my thick hair. I can use the headband elastics (metal free) as hair ties, they work because they are big.
