Heh, that's how I feel about most dymondwood. Then again, that's a great hairfork for a Packers fan!

Oddly, though I own a lot of dymondwood, I think the tulipwood fork I have is actually the most vivid "KAPOW" I've got. It just looks really insanely bright in my hair! But I love it anyway, I wish I could wear it all the time.

I actually have a fork (made by jimfo) out of that same lemon/lime dymondwood, and IRL it's not as bright as it looks in the picture.

For me, however, nothing can be *too* bright, only too foofy.

ROFL... I LOVE this word, and I've never read anyone using it here.... hahahah

eadwine, 'foofy' to me is, well... very, or overly, decorated, often intricately. Is that how you use it as well, wendyg?

*wanders around chuckling and saying 'foofy' to herself for a while*

Nah, no wood can be too bright, even the dyed ones. :) If I show you my brightest hairtoy you might need sunglasses. :D

OK, this is a crazy golden hair clip with pink and red rhinestones. One of my brightest sparkly hairtoys. I have quite a few shiny hairtoys. :) I dimmed the photo to reduce glares. It's a fakkare style clip and the spring isn't bad. A bit too small for my hair, though. I imagine it was built for ponytails.

I liked that green-striped fork!

This hurts my eyes:

The sticks themselves are nice, but the tassles are too big and bright for me.

Or these...:

I think Dymonwood tend to photograph pretty bright, the flash makes the colours come out much brighter than they look in more natural light. I know this is true for my only two Dymonwood items (Graydog). They looked much brighter in the pics but as I had been warned, I guessed the colours would be more subtle in reality, which they really are.

Thank you for this! I lost my one and only hairfork (from 60th street too) when I moved in November. I figured this would be a nice replacement. :D

I like the Guatemala fabric scrunchies. They run away too fast, but I've had loads over the years.

For me, anything pink is kapow and ouch. Anything with sparkly rhinestones, too.

foofy: we say "floofy" here.

If you worked with children or easily-distracted adults, it would be ideal!
