Only works if you use headphones:

It's stunning and terrifying at the same time. Had be in a little ball covering my eyes!

How does it make you feel?

I'm sorry but I don't get it...

Did you listen to it with headphones?

Yeah, I still don't get it. It's like radio basically. Maybe my hearing isn't all that great, I have to admit...

It should feel like the barber is moving around you, like you would hear sounds in real life. I could hear him on one side of me then walk to the other side. I felt like he was far to close to me and like the scissors were right next to my ears. It made me goosebumpy! It could just be my irrational fear of hairdressers though :)

That audio is impressively well done! The scisors freaked me out a little, but the plastic bag just gave me chills. It was terrifying.

Clipper sounds remind me of a dentist's drill so I don't get the appeal. Each to their own I guess! Apparently, this is a "thing" for some people.

Haha, I was going to ask if anyone here knew about the asmr videos! There are so many that revolve around haircutting roleplay. I wondered what LHC thought about them... I personally like asmr videos but generally don't watch the haircutting ones because I panic a little when I think about someone getting close to me with a hairbrush and scissors lol.

The 3d audio really is convincing...

I love ASMR!!! When I'm stressed I put it on and I'm off snoozing :-)

I'm much more freaked out by the dentist one. The audio is cool though!

I've never heard of ASMR before, thanks for the link :)

LOL, I can understand that. But I found the dentist one quite tolerable compare to the scissors. Maybe just because I am used to going to dentist but not the hairdresser?

I react to visual and audio stimuli in an empathetic manner.

The worst for me is the brush dragging from scalp to ends. I know it's actually on a microphone, but I hear snapping.

:D I like it because it's the only way I can enjoy someone brushing my hair without freaking out. I love asmr, the problem I have is that I only have one fav asmr person (Olivia Kissper).

It was nice when she was uploading a video every wednesday, but now she stopped uploading so much and then she uploads asmr with dry pastel sounds on paper :shudder: :D

Pretty cool & well done!

My son watches ASMR videos (mostly unboxing or toy videos with lots of rattling and crinkling noises, and quiet voices - his favorite is this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOwX-iywvLc)) but honestly I've never gotten the appeal.

He'd been ill, purging, and the sound triggered nausea and purging for me. I now respond in an emetic manner.

The affect of people moving around was pretty cool but gah, the audio was terrible. Mostly was a bunch of annoying sounds. Why couldn't it have been a nice walk in the woods with nature sounds instead of crazy barbers who sound like a bad mario bros demo?
