View Full Version : My 1 year anniversary

Not one year since joining but one year (roughly) since I cut all my damaged hair off into a 1" all over buzz cut. I didn't get any pics of it at the shortest, this is the only super short picture I have.

This would have been taken shortly before Thanksgiving 2015, a few days before I started henna.

This was about a month ago when I tried the squish to condish technique. You can't tell but my bangs are past my lips now.

These are from today, air dried with shrinkage

I lose about 2" in length

Its at a stage where its hard to see growth, it just gets sucked up by the curls but by todays measurement, I'm at 20.5 inches.

Thanks:) I know I'm making progress but it just seems so slow. I can't wait to see where I'll be in another year.

Why not do one? It's fun and it's nice to see progress. It's a great motivator. Not that I need motivation anymore. I'm stuck at classic. LOL!

There hasn't been that much progress lengthwise in my case, tee hee. It would be like "I came here in 2007 with shoulder length hair, and now in 2016 I am at APL! :cheer: " :laugh: I did an anniversary blog post last year IIRC, which was nice.

Ah, do one when you're ready, no matter how long it takes. And from shoulder to APL is something to celebrate, I think! :D :o
