If so, I'm currently accepting awesome name suggestions. :p
I'd tried a Lazy Wrap Ponytail a few times, but could never get it to stay in my hair. After a while, my stick/fork/clip would just go flying out. Eeek!
So I thought about a bit. For me, a Disc Bun is more secure than a LWB.... and with a little experimentation, I've found that a Disc Bun Ponytail holds like a champ! Like, even while chasing the toddlers around!
...You basically just gather your hair into a ponytail, and adapt the normal Disc Bun directions to allow your length to hang loose. Separate a little chunk from one side of the pony and wrap in one direction leaving a finger-sized loop, then separate a little chunk from the other side of the pony and wrap in the other direction leaving another finger-sized loop. Then your stick/fork/whatevaaaah goes in one loop, through the stem of your ponytail, and out the other loop.
I hope that sorta made sense-- here's a few terrible visuals! (Bonus: loads of child-related background clutter. My life=constantly cleaning up random stuff)
