I just did my hair in Janet Stephens Nuremberg Chronicles Hairstyle (1493). I used her construction method with slightly different tools. I did not use a mesh cap, instead of tying my hair I pony tailed it, and instead of 2 bodkins I used dozens of 3" hairpins. I had to create mini buns behind my rolls as my hair was too long to tuck under. It is fairly comfortable and seems fairly sturdy. I will post later about how it holds up and I might include pictures. Has anyone else done this hairstyle? and if so, do you have pictures?

I got pictures taken but the person who did it for me hasn't sent them to me yet. I will post them as soon as I get them. The style stayed up all evening and when I did it again the next day it held up all day.
