I have an anxiety disorder and recently I have had bad reactions to my usual shampoo, and have been getting really anxious to was my hair, how do I wash it with water only? Will it not look greasy?

Why not try a different shampoo, and dilute it with water so it will be more gentle on your hair/scalp?

What kind of bad reactions are you talking about? Dermatological reactions or anxious reactions?

I'd go to a doctor in that case, don't take chances!

I'd visit a doctor to see what it is in the shampoo you have a reaction to (They can test it to make sure that you know exactly what it is you should be avoiding_, and make a switch to a soft, sulfate free one which is gentle for your scalp :)
Don't worry, there are many shampoos and other washing methods that will not harm you. I myself use Urtekram, which is an organic, Danish brand. Very good for a sensitive scalp!

So sorry to hear that! :grouphug: I'd recommend seeing a dermatologist. Just bring the details on the product (i.e. ingredients list) to the doctor's appointment... Could be sensitivities developing or some skin condition ... - it's best to see a professional. :flower:

I agree. And take a bottle of that shampoo with you, so the doctor will be able to read the composition and make a more accurate diagnosis.

Most important thing: don't experiment with stuff in the mean time, not until you can see the doctor. Even going to your GP is good! Just go as fast as you can to the first doctor who can see you. Usually there's waiting lists for specialists (in my country at least). A GP should be able to help you out, may even get to the root of the issue!!!

It is convincing my mum to take me but I react to a lot of products like fabric softener as well, the antidepressant I'm on can cause skin disorders

Still, don't just shove it off on the AD automatically. It might have nothing to do with it.

Can I ask... How old are you? Can't you go on your own?

Oh OK, sorry. :( :grouphug:

I'm sure your mom or whoever will take you won't mind. If you say you need to go to the doctor, I'm sure she won't question it, right? Or, will she?

She probably will but hopefully she will take me
