I'm posting a link to the video, as embedding often gives me issues with loading a page, that's why I'm not doing it to you. ;)

Was anybody else nervous that her hair was going to get sucked into that fan at one point?

In my household, any amazingly presented hair product/ gadget commercial results in the comment: "there you go, Momma."

Oh, that was hilarious! And so true!
I know for commercials, they prep hair (http://www.loxabeauty.com/thelayer/perfect-advertisement-hair) with extensions and lots of heavy styling and lots of products, and the hair is brushed and styled in between every shot again, and photoshop is also used, of course... but apparently, they even employ so-called "greenscreen fluffers" (http://jezebel.com/heres-how-they-get-models-hair-to-flip-around-in-shampo-1597127575) - people whose jobs it is to wear green outfits and make hair move and flip in the "right way", and then to be erased in post-production?

Yep.
Absolutely! And she did get her hair sucked into that fan in one of her videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUv5o1K5uuM). :scared: But, thank goodness, the hair won the battle! 8) Yay!

Did anybody else cringe as she was running the hair straightener up the length of her hair as if she was trying to tease it?

Oh yes! :agree: And I believe some folks do use hair straighteners for teasing to create extra volume. There are even special tools for this (for example, this texturizing iron that is used like a back-combing tool (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMSb2yegEe4) - warning: do not try this at home! :run:).

Haha love that. So true tho, I remember these older commercials where they were literally screaming 'OH YASSS'. That was always... awkward and disturbing lol.

Well reality can be a lot more amusing, right? :p
.... But yeah, rest of these stuff hardly ever happens. The good feeling in showers is not necessarily because Im lathering my head in heavy SLS. I wont say more! :soapbox:
