So many times we hear of terrible salon visits and the things unscrupulous hairdresser do that I though I would share a positive visit with you gals.
I've been bouncing around the idea of trimming my mullet for the last couple weeks and finally went in yesterday. This was only the second time with this hairdresser, last time was 9 months ago when I had her cut all my hair off.
I really didn't know what I wanted done, I just knew I needed some shaping of all my layers and I was expecting to loose around 2" off the back. I told her just to dust the sides/front and blend in the length without taking off too much. She did exactly what I wanted, just a little dusting on the ends and cut in a deep U hemline. I was able to keep my overall length but now there is some shape and everything is blended together instead of weird whispies and jagged chunks here and there.
She was also very impressed with my hair overall. She kept gushing about how soft it is and spend more time running her fingers through it then was really necessary but not in a weird or creepy way, even said I could be in a hair commercial lol. She was quite impressed that I had no damage and approved of my henna use, said it was a good quality henna and the color was perfect. She is even willing to do my roots if I ever need help.
We discussed my care routine, products and SD. She approved of everything I do and said my hair has grown out nicely since my last visit. She never tried to sell me any overpriced products and gave suave a thumbs up, said its the only grocery store brand she recommends to her clients.
I wish I would have found her sooner, I've been looking for a hairdresser that knows how to deal with curls for over 12 years. Another plus is she doesn't do perms/colors so I don't have to smell all the chemicals. She is more like a barber and her shop is usually full of men which suites me just fine. I just wish all hairdresser were like her, everyone should have a nice experience like I did and walk out the door happy.
