So, my wedding is less than two weeks away and Halloween is less than a week later. I plan to wear my wedding dress as my princess Leia costume. I know it's not accurate but I think it will do,

This (http://www.myweddingwizard.info/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/ivory-bridal-dress.jpg) is very similar cut-wise to my wedding dress. But there are no frills, lace or funky lil patterns on my dress. My veil is similar to the veil on the left in this (http://www.lake-arrowhead-weddings.com/graphics/wedding%20articles/wedding%20veils%20large%20top.jpg) picture.

I'm thinking for the wedding to do my hair in the Medal Ceremony (http://img433.imageshack.us/img433/9581/screencaphavenstarwarsiv6880jo0.jpg) style Leia wore in ANH.

For Halloween I was thinking the more recognizable Cinnabun look. My hair is not quite thick/long enough to do this properly on it's own so I may start each bun with a sock bun.

Your thoughts? Will people recognize me as Princess Leia on Halloween?

While I think your dress is stunning, I don't think anyone will look at you and say "ooooh, she's Princess Leia!". They may think elf or fairy or princess, but I wouldn't read Leia out of that dress.

If you did the classic buns-on-each-year-Princess-Leia-style, then I'd think you'd be easily recognized.
