Old timey/southern belle hairdo?

ok, so my church is having a church prom..(a banquet that we wear prom dresses to. they came up with is so they could get kids in our church away from regular proms cuz bad stuff happens there) anyway, the theme is southern belle/civil war/wild west.. i need a hairdo..something cute..anyone have any ideas?

Depending on your dress a gibson girl updo? but that really wouldn't be civil war era more 1890's.

It might help if you told us how long your hair is/if it is curly or straight.

If you have curlyish something with rag curls could work well.

If you have shortish hair (APL) then have a look at this:

I'm not sure how historically accurate it is but it's a kind of "Southern Bell"-looking low bun.

my hair is about to my lower back..but i think i changed my mind about the dress..see the guy im going with is wearing blue jeans and cowboy boots..and i dont think prom dresses would go with that..so im probally just gonna go in a blue jean skirt and cowboy boots.. thanks for the ideas!
