I got a cut today and a bang trim, and the stylist told me that I have less hair on my left bang than the right bang. That it felt like less hair. Is this normal/common or could it be related to having a cowlick?? Just curious!

Could be just normal, I'm sure I have more hair on one side of my head than the other. It's always been like that and I don't worry about it. I don't know if having a cowlick would make a difference or not.

I have less hair on one side of my head too. When I had bangs I had one side thinner than the other and had to use thinning shears to thin out the thicker side. Anyway, I think it's completely normal. Even our faces and bodies are rarely perfectly symmetrical.

really?? cool .. . .it's just I've never had anyone say that to me before. and I know about asymmetry in the face. I have differences in my eyes, so I'll just add it to my "asymmetry" list. Thanks for sharing arr and Sarah!

Totally normal. I have less hair on the left side than the right side. I used to have a split in my bangs from a cow lick. No more bangs, but the cowling remains, and I still have slightly thicker hair on the right side of my head.

No two halves will ever be perfectly symmetrical.

I have this issue too. It was noticeable, so I trained my hair to part to the other side. Problem solved!

It's definitely normal! My hair even seems to grow a little bit faster on one side XD

wow and this stylist acted like it was the first time she'd ever noticed it on someone, so I felt all weird. I kind of new I'd be assured with you all. Thanks! I'll have to observe my white hairs to see if they grow faster on one side too!

I have less hair on my right side (my bad side - I have all my blemishes only on the right side of my body) than on my left. I'd say it's quite normal.
