Hi, I'm new here, but would greatly appreciate any advice on a question about shampoos...

I'm looking for a shampoo that is similar to Aveeno, Infusium, or Dove (at least it's formula a few years back). What I like about these is that they feel more creamy when they lather... the shampoo tends to be white or whitish, and have more the consistency of lotion than a gel... make sense? The new Dove formula is not so much like this as it used to be... it's more like Pantene... but actually the pantene of the mid-late 90's was a lot like what I'm talking about... now not at all. I have no idea the reason for this difference, but if anyone knows what I'm talking about, please please let me know!

(Actually, btw, I've found Japanese Shiseido shampoos like Asience have the same texture).

Thank you all for your help in my search!!!

Have you tried Finesse moisturizing or Finesse with a Touch of Yardley Lavender? Those are both creamy. Also depending on where you live, Mirta De Perales Milk shampoo has a similar creamy-80s type of a texture and smells a little like Jergen's cherry almond lotion. In the US, certain Rite Aides or Walmarts have it in the Hispanic haircare section, or you can find it online. Herbal Essences Hello Hydration is also rather creamy. Perhaps L'Oreal Total Repair 5..

Dove has a new coconut me that's really creamy.
Used Pantene for years. Do not recall the texture in the 90s. Their lines seems creamy to me.
Finesse seems like a good choice as mentioned but I know they changed a few years ago. Same for Aussie. Maybe Tresseme or Herbal Essences has that extra creamy texture.
