Hi,
I spent the day inside with smokers around me yesterday, my hair is dirty and full of smoke.
I'm gonna wash it today, but I was wondering, if I put oil, yogurt, honey, powders or anything like that before washing will it 'lock up' the smoke in my hair ?
I might be paranoid but I'm scared to put anything on such dirty hair

You can mist it with distilled water, a squirt of conditioner in it, and some EOs (lavender is nice). This to "refresh" the hair. It is often done to revive waves/curls in the morning. Just lightly dampen, not get it totally saturated and wet!

That should take care of the smell perfectly fine. There is absolutely *no* need to wash it just because of that.

Don't over think it. Just wash it. Clarify and deep condition if you wish.

No need to stress, just wash it and you'll be fine.

wash it if you feel it's dirty and gross. with me, it takes a few washes to get rid of the smell altogether :/

Wash if you feel the need. But none of those things that you mentioned will cause your hair to continue to smell smoky after you wash.
