My LHC One Year Anniversary! Pictures

I was feeling a little down earlier today, but then I remembered that today is my One Year as an active member of this site.

I combed out my hair and attempted to talk a length shot. It didn't turn out the best (no good lighting) but I will share anyways.

This is my hair a year ago, Not quite APL yet.

This is my hair today, past BSL and hoping to hit waist by September. My hand is at waist.

I either finger de-tangle or use a wide tooth comb, sleep with my hair braided or bunned, wash once a week. I participated in the quatrly picture thread. My hair is up alot because I paint and get into messy things often and have started to mass a lovely small collection of beautiful hair toys.

Over the year I have meet some pretty great people,learnt a lot and improved how I handle my hair.

Thank you Groovy Granny, Slynr and Sarahlabryith ! I'm starting to get to a point were I am getting happy with my hair. My thickness is traveling down as you can see in the braid pictures. I have also recently gotten "woah your hair is so long" when I take my bun down for a mini scalp break in class. I have plans to continue growing for a long time, I want to see if I was get to around classic and enjoy it. *fingers crossed*

Georgia peach I am just lucky that some other members on here have *very* good taste. Everything but a single thing I own has been from the swap board.

Cat11 Thank you! Sometimes it feels like it is just *never* growing. being apart of the quarterly picture thread has really helped with that.

Thank you everyone! I didn't trim this past year, and I'm contemplating doing another year of no trims or if my ends are really starting to need it. I have not joined offically the no trim challenge for this year, but if I can go that long I will. (Gonna decide in maybe another 6 months before deciding).
I know I'll need to trim eventually to cut out old layers to increase thickness.

The maple burl is new to me and my new favourite way to make a pony tail.

I did no trimming challenge for the year, so my layers are still there (the extreme taper in my braid is from the layers) and the waves are braid waves! My own ways are more wurly and less uniform. From time to time I can get *very* loose ringlets around my face if it dries nice.
