Does anyone grow faster in the winter? All summer my hair grows at a snail's pace. Once the weather goes cold my hair shoots out of my scalp! Before Christmas I was maybe a half inch below BSL...I noticed today that I'm about 3 inches from waist! I never measured how much was between BSL and waist for me, but it was at LEAST 5 inches,if not more.

Anyone else?

My hair also seems to grow faster on winter and sheds way less. Spring is a total different thing. But yes usually, my hair would be noticeable longer on winter mothns when I first let it all grow out!

Yes, I think that's the case for me too. And I also shed less during winter. My hair is nicer in winter months as a whole. :)

My hair shedding seemed to have slowed down this winter which is a first for me,but i usually see growth in summer but with shedding slowing down now then just maybe i am in for extra growth!

My hair growth seems to be very even all year around. I haven't been measuring in years (bar few diy tries last autumn, which were not successful), but when I did it was about 1 cm monthly.

I had to trim my bangs twice during a month because it was poking my eyes, so yes I think this is winter spurt :)

Since about October/November my fall shedding stopped and I have never lost so few hairs than now. I don't know why. Not every year is the same either. It can be totally different from one year to the next - at least for me. I do always have a spring/fall shedding period, though.

I haven't noticed any difference, but then again I haven't been keep track :D. I do notice that my hair is less frizzy and easier to manage due to it being less hot and humid.

From October to January my hair grow faster than the rest of the year, I have noticed several years. It is extrange, some people say their hair grow faster on summer  on summer my hair grow very slow :horse:

I don't get summer growth spurts, mostly because I never go outside. Since I've been eating and taking care of myself better, my hair has grown this particular winter. Not a huge amount, but more than usual, I think. :)

It's the opposite for my hair. Between January and July (2015) my hair grew 2.5 inches. From July to this January it only grew 1.5 inches. This is without taking any supplements for the last year but with regular trims of course. My hair is really dry during the winter and ends up shedding a lot if I braid without applying serum first, but during the summer I rarely need to use serum or oil. Summer seems to be the best time for my hair

It's the same here .. Never got any summer nor winter spurt ...
