Hi everyone!

I'm very new here, and just posted an introduction in the "New Here" thread. I had to cut my hair off 18 months ago due to damage from years of bleaching and colouring. It was quite short when I cut it, and I was very upset with my appearance for a long time. It is finally shoulder length, and I'm starting to become happy with the length. I did a lot of trims along the way, because I like my hair to be all one length.

Here is is the before an after (the short picture is after about 1 month of growth):

I did frequent trims as I grew out a pixie, too. It was really cute on you!

I think you have a great face for both pixie and longer hair, both photos look great! (Those eyes!)

It's amazing how much younger you look with the long hair! You look very pretty with both though :)

You have such petite doll features you seriously can look good in whatever you want!!! (Me I'm just a sucker for long hair, but short looks great on you)

You are so beautiful!!!!! Amazing eyes, wonderful smile. Your progress is inspiring - I too, am growing out my pixie, but keeping the layers as it grows. Congrats on your progress and good luck on your journey!

Staci welcome to LHC and congrats on your amazing progress. I'm also dealing with pixie grow out but the same as Sweets also not trimming the bottom part, so keeping the layers in. Oh well, year of ugliness and hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel for me :-)

Thanks so much everyone! I wish I had joined earlier haha. I could have used the confidence boost.

I really wish I could have just let it grow with the layers, but I'm just so set in my "one length hair" ways. I had a friend who was growing out a pixie around the same time, and hers looked so much longer because she just let it grow (no mullet trims for her). I always wonder what my hair would have looked like if I just let it do its thing.

This is fabulous growth for 18 months, especially with trims!! You look great with both styles. :)
